Hi,
Yesterday AVAST found ELF:Agent-AP [Trj] in my 2-year old Sheeva Plug Computer SDK for Linux archive. Last time AVAST scanned the file, approx. 6 months ago, no problems were reported.
The file is available at http://www.plugcomputer.org/405/us/plug-basic/compiler/Plug_Host_SWsupportPackageLinuxHost.zip
Only avast out of 37 scanners at http://virscan.org/, and none out of 43 engines at Metascan found libc-2.5.so (first one of those 11; the whole SDK archive is too big to be scanned) a threat.
That given, there is a very good chance those items are all false positives.
Shall i report them myself, via AVAST GUI, one-by-one, or it is possible that AVAST team handle these items internally, given the above URL?
And, what kind of virus ELF:Agent-AP [Trj] is?
Thanks in advance,
Valery
