Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to retrieve email messages that avast may have filtered before they reached my inbox? My email server tells me that I have new messages, but none show up in my inbox, and my internet server help line says it’s probably the avast that is filtering them. Any ideas? Thanks!

avast doesn’t filter emails it scans and alerts to infection or suspicious emails, the user then decides what action to take.
What is your OS, email program and is this POP3 email not web based email ?
Can’t you use webmail and check?
Does your ISP uses a spam filter? Does it have a recycle bin or spam folder?
