Hi :slight_smile:

Can someone please tell me how I can remove the Email Icon from under my name :-[

First I thought it was because I hadn’t made enough posts.
But I’ve made 20 post now.
I’ve been able to add my Avatar
But I still can’t figure out how to get rid of that email / envelope icon.

I been trying all day :frowning:
I even ended up getting in a right old muddle ::slight_smile:
Coz I clicked it to see what would happen… & … Windows Mail Popped Up … I don’t use Windows mail :o

It’s really starting to bother me now :cry:

First, I don’t see any e-mail icon under your name. And if you want to be sure that your e-mail address is hidden from public, you should open your Profile, open Account Related Settings and check the option “Hide email address from public?”

The icon is only available to youself and administrators. Other users can’t see it.

Well not really, you are the only one that can see it no one else, see image.

I can see the email envelope in my posts, but you can’t.

From Day One…
I’ve had my email set as - “Hide email address from public”

But coz I could see it…
I presumed other forum members could too ::slight_smile:

The icon is only available to yourself and administrators. Other users can’t see it.

I had thought that was a possibility
But I just kept thinking…
Why would I need to have a link to my own email ???

I’ve got a right headache :frowning:
Trying to kill the icon that was never there.

And now I’m worrying coz I accidentally woke up Windows Mail :o
It said something about creating an Internet account … I Clicked To Cancel … And it was still ready to let me send an email to myself ???
I just hope it’s gone back to sleep.
