Hello,
i would like to know if the mail protection also works with the eM Client client.
Autosignature works, so there is interaction between Avast and M Client.
Is there the same interaction in protection as well?

News?
I suggest looking in the Logs folder - C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log Particularly the two in my attached image. The Mail.log.old as the Mail.log file is active and essentially locked.
Thanks David,
for the feedback.
But I don’t understand what should I look for in these log files?
That is, as long as they exist and therefore does it mean that Avast Free also protects the “eM Client” client or should I look inside the files if the “eM Client” client is mentioned?
Have you looked in the log file ?
They should be showing the connections, if the connections are being made then scanning should be taking place.
I don’t use eM Client, so I have no idea what email protocol/s (IMAP, SMTP, etc) it is using.
Thanks David,
ok now i don’t have the PC with me.
As soon as I can, I check the contents of the LOG files and check them in detail. However, I configured the mail accounts with IMAP.
Thanks for the support. However I will update the post after checking so it can be useful for other users who use “eM Client”.
You’re welcome.
Hello,
I confirm that the mail log files show verification actions on the IMAP mail both in reception and in sending (SMTP is also checked) therefore I confirm that Avast Free also checks on mail clients: “eM Client”.
Great!
Thanks for the confirmation.
Thank you for the support!
