I seem to have recently picked up an email virus that automatically puts some sort of advertisement for an ‘avast’ antiirus company at the end of all my emails. I tried running the virus scanner but it doesn’t pick it up.
Any suggestions?
I doubt that you are using AES which this forum is about.
You did not pick up a virus, it is the new webmail scanning in avast that does it.
Go to settings of your Avast and uncheck checkbox for adding text to emails.
