I have something really weird going on with my computer. McAfee says there is a potential worm and that 5 email messages have been sent within 30 seconds. It keeps popping up every time I hit stop this e-mail. It just keeps repeating over and over and says it is a different e-mail subject each time. It will not let me open Microsoft Outlook and says it is no longer installed on my computer and that I have to go to where I installed it to do it again. Can anybody help me a and tell me what I need to do? I have a copy of my registry but it will not allow me to post it because that combined with this message exceeds 10,000 characters.
Thanks, Lee

Hi lfordiv :
There is no indication that you have Avast Antivirus on your
computer; since this is an Avast Support forum and your
HJT log indicates you may have Spybot, I suggest you post
a request for help in their forums at :
http://forums.spybot.info .
P.S. You seem to prefer the "bloatware" McAfee to Avast !?

From what you said in your first post, you probably do have an email worm. If you have W2000 or XP, try using Ewido to remove it.
I see nothing that stands out as being very wrong in your HJT log but I am no expert on reading them. It would be better to go to the HJT website and ask for help there with reading your log.
Before installing any other anti-virus program, be sure to completely uninstall McAfee anti-virus. It will not completely uninstall using the normal methods. There will be files/registry entries left behind that will need to be eliminated before any other anti-virus will work correctly.
I hope this helps you some and that you can find the other help you need.
