What is your Operating System?

Hopefully Technical will be able to help here soon.

My SO is win2K - and I use Outlook Express 6.

I receive some messages with 6MB or more, and I have this problem “Time Out - Your POP server stopped” or anything else, I dont remember.

this driving crazy me…

Help me someone… :-\

When you receive an email with a large attachment, avast scans the email and attachment (this obviously takes time), so whilst this happens your email program thinks the server has timed out - increase the timeout delay in OE, this should hopefully give avast time to complete the check without OE giving a warning.

You should increase your timeouts both into avast! and Outlook Express accout settings.
Can you do that?

Besides we’re brazilians, English the language here 8)

OK thank’s , I go to make these alterations here, thank’s all for the patience,

My English is very worse!
