Help! Everytime I send an attachment the message gets stuck in the outbox but send repeated messages to the recipient. These files are under 5 mgs and should go easily. When I disable AVAST protection, I can send the email. What do I need to change? Thanks!!
When you say they are stuck in the outbox, this probably isn’t the whole story as there are likely to be warning messages such as , timeout messages, etc.
What messages are you getting?
What is your OS?
What is your email program?
Can you send and receive emails without attachments? if so ignoe the next question.
What is your firewall, does it allow ashMaiSv.exe access to the internet?
I don’t get any messages. The email stays in the outbox. I do get calls from the intended recipients reporting to me they’ve received numerous copies of my email even though it hasn’t left my outbox.
My operating system is Windows XP and I’m using the Earthlink TotalAccess mailbox. Yes, I can send and receive emails without attachments.
