EMET notifier

Can we uninstall the EMET notifier?

Has Microcrap fixed the security issue in Window$?

I’ve fixed your typo.
Keep your system updated. and you don’t need the temporary patch.

A previous update installed the patch. It is still installed.

Have they now rectified the issue so that EMET can be uninstalled?

Thank you for the informative link Bob.

I too installed that update and also still have EMET running.

The article seems to indicate there is no urgent need to keep it installed and running.

I would be interested to hear whether other forum users still have it (installed and) running!

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I still have it EMET installed & running on my desktop as well as all MS updates.

There seems to be no ill effects.

Thanks CharleyO.

I have run EMET on Win machines since version 1 and would not be without it. EMET has flagged and blocked DEP events several times where AV and Malware systems have not done anything. Definitely a keeper for me.

Yes.
I don’t have any concerns with keeping it on my system, and it does add another layer of security

Hi folks,

EMET and also using a non-admin account is one are part of good and sound security practices.
These are things every Windows user should be aware of…

Im running on maximum settings and have not experienced any issues as of yet.
