Encrypted Mail File Problems

Using Outlook 2003 a user has encrypted his personal files folder. Now when he tries to send someone an e-mail attachment with a file that’s been encrypted, he gets the following error from avast!:

avast!: Cannot scan a message attachment.
Error Code is 00000005

Is this because avast! does not have the correct credentials to decrypt the file?

Most probably, as avast can’t know the password of encription of that attachments…
