Endpoint Protection Plus doesn't update

Hello. I’m having issues with a PC whose Avast update engine doesn’t work. As soon as Win7 loads, I get a red box message stating that Avast can’t be updated. If I click the “update” button, the update screen shows up, but the progress bars don’t move at all (virus database or software) and it kind of “freezes” on this update screen…

I also tried going to the Control Panel, in order to “repair” the Avast installation, but nothing happens when I click the “Uninstall or Change” button, or when I right click over Avast on the list… :frowning:

Try to update the system through the console.

You can push the install to the client again from the console. If you are using the Small Office Console be sure to check the option to force a reinstall for an existing client. This should reinstall with the current version from your mirror.
