Endpoint Protection Suite Plus Multiple License Problem

Hi,

We have Endpoint Protection Suite Plus installed at one of our customers sites, they originally purchased 12 licenses, then when the product came round for renewal this year, they required a further 3 licenses to cover the addition of more machines, so a 15 user license was purchased this time round.

We installed the new license with the assumption that it would replace the existing 12 user license which was coming up to expire and everything would be fine.

What however has happened is that the license has installed as an additional license so 2 license files are showing and now the old 12 user licence has expired, we keep getting messages popping up telling us that the license has expired, even though we have the correct 15 user license installed which doesn’t expire until 2014.

All we basically want is the one 15 user license showing.

I need a way to remove the old expired license from the Avast! Small Office Administration console so as to get rid of these annoying licensing messages and cant seem to find anything online relating to multiple license files being installed.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance!

Contact your reseller and request they resend your license file, if not the reseller or you will need to submit a support ticket to avast to have them check the license file. This has been happening more recently (mostly with Enterprise Administration) where multiple products in the same license file are causing issues but in all cases its been a simple fix for the support team to generate a correctly formatted license.

 Send an email to reseller-support@avast.com and they will probably want you to send your licenses file in. I had to send mine to my reseller then to Avast and finally back to the reseller and then I finally got the EAS server recognizing just one current licenses. ;D
