Endpoint Protection Suite - Real Time Shields not working

I installed this program on my server a couple of days ago. I am running Windows Server 2008 R2. When the application is deployed to the work stations, the real time shields are turned off and cannot be turned on. When I click the fix now button, I get a message that says “The following components could not be started: IM shield, P2P shield, file system shield.” I tried the repair function on the servers’ control panel and then rebooted my server but the problem persists. Thank you.

If you haven’t already - you may try uninstalling completely, reboot, and then re-install. I had a similar issue on an Exchange server right after upgrading from 4.8. Uninstall/reboot/re-install resolved the issue and haven’t had any more issues with it.

Just for good measure you may want to use the avast cleaner utility after you uninstall just to make sure all remnants are gone.
