is there any difference between Endpoint Protection Suite and Endpoint Protection Suite Plus when it comes to command line scanning using “ashCmd.exe” util? Avast website informs:
“Antispam
Comprehensive spam and phishing filter, which works also as a plug-in to MS Outlook and a generic POP3/IMAP4 proxy for other email clients – now with better reporting functionality.”
and tells that this function works “ALSO” as a plugin so I’m wondering what it’s basic functionality. Is this somehow additional filterset which is being also taken under consideration when using ashCmd.exe util?
I’m asking because I’m testing Avast as a command line incoming/outgoing emails on mail server scanner (I was asking one question about it here: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=166734.0) and I’m wondering if this Antispam is something which I could also use.
