Endpoint Protection willnot install on Windows 10 Ver 1607

I have a client that has a licence for endpoint Protection but cannot get the install to complete.
It has been successfully installed on the server but her laptop will not even bring up the install options. I get no errors or any information as to the state of the install or why it failed.
I can install avast free but the client has paid for Endpoint.
Please help

What exact avast version ?
Is there any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)
How exactly are you trying to install the client ?
Is there anything (that could be) related in the log file(s) ?
etc.

Windows defender was the only security related software on the PC.
I have been using the offline installer that was downloaded from the avast website, the same installer has been used successfully for other clients since.
I cannot find anything in Event viewer relating to Avast installs and there is no install log file that I can find either.
All I get is the spinning progress wheel and thats it.

Deploy avast to the client from the console.

Latest version of Endpoint Protection is Windows 10 Compatible. Try to deploy from the console as Eddy suggested. Also you can have the console give you an offline install package as well, let me know which console you are using (Small Office or Enterprise) and I can provide detailed instructions on this.

Thank you for the replys, but I have never deployed the install from the console, and have never needed to. I see little point in deploying it that way when the installation on this particular PC is problematic. I would rather find out why this is not installing and rectify that and hopefully discover a possible larger issue that may cause problems down the line.

Perhaps you can’t find the install log, but it should be there.
Could be you need to enable “show hidden files and folders” first.

To spot a (possible) problem on that system you might want to use Farbar and check the logs it creates.
