Hi,

This post is a request for a small change.

On slow connections the web console takes so long to open that you go away and do something else while you wait. Then when you come back and try to do something it says session expired. Even if you’ve only been gone for 1 minute the session expires. Please can you make the session expiry period longer so we have a chance to use it before it expires?

Also, when it does expire, if you press the refresh session button that is provided the console mostly never re-displays. I’ve found the most reliable way to get it to re-display is to start it again at https://business.avast.com/ rather than letting it continue from where it was. I’m not sure why that is but maybe it will give the developers a clue for something to check.

Thanks Eddy, unfortunately the people who say that always have such fast connections. We are on DSL here that is 1024kbits/second. You are on a fast connection.

I’m on VDSL.
Max I can get is about 15Mb because I’m far from phone central.

Anyway, have you tried different browsers ?
Especially on slow connections it can make a noticible difference.
For me Opera 12.18 works very well.

Thanks Eddy, I’ve only tried the big 3 - chrome, firefox and internet explorer (and the new kid on the block - edge - but that’s hopeless and therefore only a last resort). I’ll see if opera makes a difference.

Sadly opera did not help
