Entering License Key

Hi

I hope this isn’t a stupid question. I’ve purchased a license for Avast 4 Pro and entered it into the Registration popup on the startup screen. I got a message saying the insertion of the license was successful. However, the Avast startup screen displays “Standard Release License: …” and then a string of characters which is not the same as the license key I entered. Is this correct, or should the screen be displaying the key I entered?

It should display the key as entered, but without the second part.
Are you saying that even the first part is different? What does it show then?

The first part is the same so I guess that’s OK. Thanks.
