Epictory, Blackfight, Blackled and other svchost.exe-related pop up warnings

Hi, im getting these strange warnings when i boot up my computer from avast only if im connected to the internet. Sometimes they are 14 warnings or 12, sometimes just two. Everyone related to svchost, like Epictory or Blackled, they randomly change but they’re still the same links. I attached my logs, hopefully i can get some help :frowning:

Let me know if this stops it

Hi, thanks for the help. I did what you suggested, and after restart no warnings. But, looks like avast disappeared from the taskbar. Something wrong?
Same happened to steam
Man i don’t know what this fix did but now my computer behaves strange. At startup it flashes for a second and it does’t start some services and those two programs (avast and steam)

try to repair avast

controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option

any change?

I did it. Not working. I saw on Event Viewer that the flash at startup is related to an error of “explorer.exe”. There’s a bunch of errors here. What happened with that fix?

wait for essexboy to reply …

Seems there are corrupted files in my system. There’s no way to force avast to run at system startup, same for steam. I thought windows was running it but not showing its icon, but when i tried to scan one file it says “AvastUI not running”. I’m going to initialize my computer or format it, just to make sure everything is ok.

No need for that .... avast is probably just a reinstall

wait for essexboy to reply

Avast is just an error among the others :frowning:

run a fresh frst log for essexboy to look at

If he dont reply in the next two hours then he has logged of for today

thanks for the help

Could you run a fresh FRST please. None of the removals should have any affect on the system files or behaviour

Do you run a theme that disables the MS theme service ?

Restarting "Themes" service has solved problem
As there are a lot of these on msfn that reference twinui.dll

No i don’t. Running test, they’ll be ready in a minute. I know this is strange but after system restart (ordered by frst) avast and many programs don’t run by themselves

Here’s the scan.

Could you restore the system back to the restore point created by FRST prior to the fix and an let me know if you still get the dll errors

When i use system restore i always get an error: windows isn’t able to modify a file protected by avast

…but this time it worked, system restored. I still get dll errors and now that system rebooted avast and steam didn’t start. They’re set on “run at system startup” in task manager

This does not make sense as no areas of the registry were touched which is where the startup data is

Could you run a repair on Avast
