EPS Licensing

Having purchased 5 EPS licences (3 year) covering various PCs around the house - including the Windows home server and Media server.
I have now decided to add three laptops into the cover so…

Is it possible to increase the licences to 8 rather than purchase the minimum of 5 EPS licences ?

Or is there a more cost effective solution ? which allows me to use the SOA console and reporting of EPS with a different version of Avast such as “Pro” or “Internet Security” versions ? Or EP / EPP business versions?
The most cost effective route is increase the EPS licencing by 3.

Here is the only way to do this that I know without you being penalized, and it will take a reseller to get it done for you.

You get the 5 minimum, then have the 2 licenses merged into a single 8 user, and the total time of both licenses is averaged across 8 users. This way, you lose no time, and you get a single license with single anniversary.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions, I took a slightly different route and went for The Avast Internet Security solution for the laptops, it worked out a whole lot cheaper and gave the malware/spam/firewall protection needed.

NB: I originally went the EPS route to cover the home servers as the personal Avast versions would not cover the Window 2011 Home servers.

There is a specific version of avast! for WHS 2011 that is very inexpensive. Though again, I don’t believe it is offered on the retail website, I think you need a reseller to get it!
