err downloading free home version

I am a new user trying to download both the free virus cleaner and the latest home version. Using Windows XP on a Dell machine. Getting the following error:

goaw06cx.exe could not be saved because the source file could not be read. Try again later or contact system administrator.

Is this a problem with my computer? If so, any suggestions as to what to do?

Looks like your system is already infected with malware. Click on the link in my signature and follow the instructions in the malware removal section.

oaw06cx.exe is not even known to Google and therfor very suspicious. Especially since it is definatly not a file that belongs to Avast or the cleaner.
