Erratic login on Lenovo S10-3, Windows 7 Starter, 32bit (not SP1)

Just upgraded from within avast! UI to AIS 7.0.1407 from AIS 6.0.1367.

Login at Windows ‘Welcome’ screen takes 2 or more attempts, i.e. I enter the password and a few seconds later it’s back to the ‘Welcome’ screen.

Once it seemed to accept the password but then froze and I had to hard reboot it to recover.

Also atempts to remotely connect via ‘Teamviewer 4’ gets no response for about 90 seconds after the ‘Welcome’ screen appears and sometimes not at all.

Anyone else?

Update: Checking the box ‘Load avast! services only after loading other system services’ seems to have solved the problem, at least temporarily. Startup time still seems subjectively a little slower though.
