when I log onto the BBC news web site I get the following popup message:-
Avast Web Shield has blocked access to this site because the following certificate has been revoked:
https://feeds.bbci.co.uk
Since the web site opens and loads, the site has not obviously been blocked. Why am I getting this erroneous pop up message and how can I stop it happening?

It does seem to be a false positive:

It can be that there is a link on that site that links to a site/server where the certificate is revoked.
I can directly access your feeds.bbci.co.uk link, but it comes up with a 404 error and no avast alert.
If I go to the http://www.bbc.co.uk/news I have no alerts (possibly no link there for the feeds), but I’m not logging in as I haven’t subscribed to that function.
The problem is with GlobalSign.
