This PUP error Error 04bc52c48db0 persists each time I try to log into an MSM newspaper online in order to comment. Is there a solution?
Regards,
Humph.
Hi,
Can you attach a screenshot, please?
Sorry but the Avast Threat Secured panel did not appear each time I attempted a screenshot on this web page url https://reachplc.hub.loginradius.com/auth.aspx?action=login&return_url=https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1449491/Brexit-news-Boris-Johnson-G7-Northern-Ireland-Protocol-sausage-wars-Emmanuel-Macron-France&publication_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.express.co.uk%2Fnews%2Fpolitics%2F1449491%2FBrexit-news-Boris-Johnson-G7-Northern-Ireland-Protocol-sausage-wars-Emmanuel-Macron-France
The threat lies with the blog platform…apparently.
Hi,
Please report the URL here https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php and our virus specialist will look into it.
Done. Thank you.
I received the following in reply:
"Thank you for reporting this false positive.
Our virus specialists have now cleared its reputation in our database.
With URLs this change should be instant, but it might take up to 24 hours with files.
For future reference you might also find the following article to be useful: Avast Clean Guidelines.
Best regards,
Avast Customer Care".
Thank you to you and the Specialists who have succeeded in clearing this. I have successfully tried one of the log-ins affected…and it worked.
For what it’s worth I think some hostile Eurobots have been hacking the blog forum mentioned and planting nasties on it. I wonder what your Specialists found.
Hi,
You can reply to the case, and if possible they will provide more information.
