The error happens only at boot-time. I used to scan by tasks (Enhanced User Interface).
I did boot-time scan only twice; today and on 21/05/2004.
And in both scans I got the above error (and Number of infected files: 0).
My laptop is from Toshiba: Satellite 5105-S607.
So I have no idea how its hard disk ‘TOSHIBA MK4019GAX’ is connected.
Is there a way to know it?
Oh… I forgot to say that I run XP home, and lately I upgraded SP1 to SP2.
I too receive this error when I run the boot time virus scan.
“Master Boot Record 0 Error 0xC0000013”
I think it’s how our systems are set up. I have an Asus A7n8x-Deluxe mobo with 2 Maxtor SATA 120GB 7200rpm drives connected to the SATA controllers of the mobo. They are set in a Raid 0 config (Data Striping). I have partitioned the 240GB array into a 40GB drive C and 199GB Drive D (for My Documents).
I only get the error when I run the boot time scan.
