Just did a scan, and this showed up in the warnings
/Users/****/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari/History/https:%2F%2Fwww.google.com %2F%23hl=en&sugexp=ernk_rr&gs_rn=8&gs_ri=psy-ab&cp=11&gs_id=16&xhr=t&q=normal.dotm&es_nrs=true&pf=p&sclient=psy-ab&oq=normal.dotm&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.44990110,d.dmQ&fp=f8e6d4e16054745d&biw=1115&bih=718.webhistoryÿ×ûd8°
The “Infection Details” says “Error 63 File name too long”
There were two of these, the second one is pretty much identical to this one.
I don’t really know what this means, but can anyone help me out? This seems like a really weird path, and even weirder, when I click “show in finder”, it won’t bring me to it. If I go to the History path I can navigate to it, but this just seems really weird.
Can anyone please help?
could you attach a screenshot…

Like I said the files were gone, and actually I realized that I couldn’t even find the files, so thats even weirder
seems like a scan error…not detection

I have a Macbook pro ~2010 with Mountain Lion, so yes Avast for Mac
I am just confused why it said I was even at that site or why I couldn’t even find it in my finder.
then you should post this in the Mac forum section. http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=5.0
as we here know nada about Mac. :-\
