Error after right click scanning

after I scan a folder/file with avast I get a error of… Error during open of atl dialog . Error number 2. I updated it this morning…just wondering how to fix it

What OS are you using? Is this a new avast installation or an update from a previous version? If update, was the right-click scan working in the previous version?

Os is Xp Pro Sp1 and yes I updated this morning to 4.1 and it worked fine before it
