After update the UI does not start. See error message in the subject.

Do you mean we have to uninstall Avast and then to install the lastest version, even in French?
Same problem here, still after a clean istallation of the latest avast version (2015.10.0.2208) and bootings same error.
Win 7. Avast Pro.
- Download Avast Pro Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_pro_antivirus_setup.exe
- Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
- Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
- Reboot.
Same problem, no internet connection anymore after updating Avast.
Could solve this problem only by system restore.

I have the same problem with Avast Free. I’ve installed version Avast 2015 but it didn’t solve it. Can someone help me?

I have aleready posted about this bug
this message indicate that avast can’t found english dll when starting avast ui
to correct that the simplest solution is:
- go to configuaration panel
- list installed programs
- right clic on avast and choose modify
- check english language
- clic continue, now english language is installed
- find avastui.exe start it or reboot if you are not sure
now avastui can start
in few case avast now speak in english to correct that
- open avast ui interface (clic icone in task bar)
- clic settings
- in general area language you have two choice english or your language , select it that’s all
