Please try to force stop the application or reinstall Avast Secureline (https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Uninstall-SecureLine-VPN/)
If the error repeats, check your device’s “Power-saving features” and ensure that it is not killing Avast SecureLine VPN from running in the background.
