Today I made a backup of my iPhone in iTunes so iTunes made a copy of my downloaded apps (all legit apps like facebook, instagram, twitter etc from their original developers) and it safed the copy somewhere on my computer. I ran a full scan with avast on my computer and one file couldn’t get scanned, because it’s a “decompressionbomb” according to avast. When I clicked the results, it showed up that it was about a part of the facebook app for my iPhone. Since I downloaded it from the original appstore from apple and it’s the original facebook app I’m pretty sure that it can’t be malware (right?) but what is a decompressionbomb? Should I worry about that?
- Sorry for the typo, I meant decompressionbomb.
