ADNM RC1A is running on a windows 2000 server machine sp4 with sql 2000 sp3. When I try to create an installation package for a workstation I get an error. The steps are: Right click in the installation package window and select create package. Call it test select avast netclient edition. Click edit. Take the default destination. Take the default protections. After clicking next you get the error: Operation system does not meet minimal requirements. You can install only on Windows NT4 with Service Pack 4 or better. Cannot be installed on NT Server. Viewing log output follows in next message.
This is the log:

The above error is recieved when I use the adnm console on the adnm server itself. If I use the remote adnm console on my machine (Windows 2000 professional) it creates the installation package fine. I am also able to create a server installation package from my machine as well.
OK, looks like a plain bug to me. I’ve forwarded a link to this thread to the respective developer.
Thanks

Any news ?
I also have this problem.
How can I create the installation package for the client machine (Windows 2000/XP) ?
Thanks
To create a workstation install package in RC1A do the the following. Install just the adnm console on a workstation. Run the console on that workstation. Create your install package on the remote console on the workstation. You can then deploy from either the server’s local console or the workstation’s remote console.

Any news from developer ??

Yeah, of course, this is already fixed, will be in the next public build.
Ok, thanks.
