error happened to me when im try to update avast manually … "just after install last update
6.0.1367" my avast free version on my pc
on my windows 7 32 bit problem with manual update from offical avast link :
http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/vpsupd.exe
the message is "cant install VPS update …etc "
and also the same error on my laptop free version …
help me …
Please, upload (attach) the avast log:
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\Setup.log
or C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\Setup\setup.log
If the file is too big for the forum, post the last 400-500 lines of it.
Reboot. Delete firewall rules. Reboot again. The firewall rules should be eventually re-created.
Only if that is not enough, go to “Add / Remove Programs” → Avast → repair Avast. Follow the instructions and reboot.
After the last reboot, wait 10 minutes and review the info about when the last update was attempted and if it was successful or not.
