Hi all,
running 5.1.874 without behavior shield. - anybody seen this error in Windows Defender event log ?
As far as I can tell, Avast! is operating normally. What is the driver/file associated with avastTestService?
Perhaps there is something I can add to the WD exclusions?
Windows Defender Real-Time Protection agent has detected changes. Microsoft recommends you analyze the software that made these changes for potential risks. You can use information about how these programs operate to choose whether to allow them to run or remove them from your computer. Allow changes only if you trust the program or the software publisher. Windows Defender can’t undo changes that you allow.

A few people have advised me to disable WD, but I have never seen any details of
whether the functionality of WD is active in Avast. If it is, what shield is it in ?
I presumed it may have been the behavior shield, but surely since it’s set to “allow” everything,
how can it be providing any protection ?
For now, I have WD active and behavior shield uninstalled.
Pardon my poor verbiage, you took me too literally. By “functionality” I was merely referring to whether
the work that WD does behind the scenes was taken care of by Avast or not. I’m not talking about some kind of
functional link-up between the two products.

Why i am not know what i talk?
Its a pacific point that wd ia garbage and on many security systems YOU KNOW the best to do is disable the wd to avoid conflicts
Can you just ADMIT THE POSSIBILITY of wd not work well with most of aplications in the market?
I have had Windows Defender on my Windows Vista laptop since getting it a couple of years ago. Regardless of whether it does any good or not (I’m not going to debate that here), I have never had a conflict between Windows Defender and any other application. So I’m not sure your statement that it does not work well with most applications is really true. I’m not suggesting that you haven’t had problems; I’m just saying my experience has been very different from yours.
Yes, yes
As we have milions of different computers and even users, i admit for some people windows devender should work well togeter others apps
But the most comum advice is turn this garbage of
