I’ve just upgraded from WIN98 to XP-home
I’ve reinstalled avast using demo license
When I attempt to update I fail and get this on the log:

Avast4 runs ok, just cannot upgrade

Hi, you’re running too old version. Please, update manually to the latest one. Simply download and run setupeng.exe

That’ll fix your problem.

thanks, just did a reload via simple user interface and it all seems to be ok :slight_smile:

I know, we fixed the problem today.

But I still have to ask you to upgrade. This is a message for all those running build 268 and lower: UPGRADE PLEASE.

OK - have downloaded and reinstalled from scratch.
shows - Build Jan2004 (4.1.342)
