Error installing/downloading Anti-theft

Any help with this would be great. I downloaded Avast mobile security from Google Play onto my stock Tmobile Galaxy S2. Avast is functioning just fine but when I attempt to install the anti-theft component I get the following errors.

Connection error: SSL handshake aborted: ssl=0x37cf98: I/O error during system call, Connection reset by peer

I am unable to get past this error. I have restarted my phone, checked my connection to the internet, everything seems fine but I get the same error every time.

Thanks again for any help!

I am getting the same message trying to install Anti-theft on my LG Optimus Chat. I either get this message or a “Connection time-out” message.

Hello,

I get following errors too : “connection reset by peer” or “SSL handshake aborted” or “connection timeout” or “server overloaded” for couple of days (HTC Desire with CyanogenMod 7). :frowning:

I have the same problem, trying to download the anti theft setup on my htc wildfire s. What am I doing wrong?

Should be fixed, could you try again?

Filip

Hi there,

I’m having problems trying to install the Anti Theft apk, I noticed it yesterday and today. When the assistant tries to download de Anti Theft package, the following error appear: Host is unresolved: ta-cdn.avast.com:443.

Same problem goes with Samsung Galaxy I5500 (2.2 version) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus (3.2 version).

Any help will be appreciated.

Mauricio

Tried again and it’s working now!

My internet is working well.
