Just subscribed to Avast Pro.When trying to listen to a station(news) I get the error message of :Error Loading Player No playable sources found. What can I do with this? Can anyone help? Thanks very much
Just subscribed to Avast Pro.What AV did you use before? Is any previous used AV (none avast) fully removed using vendors removal tool?
Right click avast tray icon and pause shields … does it work now?
If so, try turning on/off one and one shield until you find the one that give problems
Thank you for your reply.I have been using Avast Free before and now switched to the paid Pro version.I forgot to mention a very important detail, crucial I am sure(sorry about that),the error message came up when I tried using the NEW AVAST SAFE ZONE.I don’t get the error message when I try the same website using Google Chrome browser.I just tried to listen to the same site in the safe zone, but the error message prevented me to do that.So I just went back to G.Chrome and listen there-as I do every day to this same site. So,I was wondering why is this happening?
I hope this will make it clearer-I realize that I misinformed you not giving the essential detail.
Sounds to me that you have a old version avast.
If I am not mistaken, safezone has been replaced with a safe browser.
What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast ?
Thank you for your reply!I just subscribed from the free version to the Pro version yesterday. It came with Avast Safe Zone Browser(icon on desktop_,tried a page that I listen to every day(using G.Chrome),but the error message came up,the page appeared, but no sound). The Safe Zone Browser is 1.46 and the Avast Pro is 11.1.2241
Kindly note that I am not computer savvy(78 yrs old and learning every day-running into problems like this one). Thanks again for devoting your time to respond.
See, it is Safe Browser now ![]()
I’m 48 and have been busy with computers over 33 years and still am learning new things.
Blame it on the constant development of hardware and software ;D
As the safe browser is to protect users, it would not surprise me if things like Java are not (by default?) supported by it.
What station are you trying to play ? I will have a look with my safe zone
The station I was trying to play was a news station that broadcasts in several languages.
It is IBA World Service. The script appears as on other browsers, but when trying to listen to the English(or any other language) news the error notice appears and there is no sound.I have no problem listening to these news in Chrome,or Firefox.I just wanted to try this safe browser,as this was something entirely new to me and happened to select that web site.
Thank you for your response to this!Curious whether your safe site will oblige and allow you to listen to any of the news there.
Just some information:
http://www.iba.org.il/world/ > Live Reka ?
If so, it is a flash player.
No information if Java, Flash and such will work in the browser ![]()

I get the same problem with IE11 as well as safe zone
I wonder if there are browser restrictions on it as safe zone is I believe Opera based
The player works in Opera 12.17
Hi Eddy and others.I tried an other station to play news in the Safe Zone, and there a script appeared that solved the problem, which is just as you say,it wanted me to download Adobe Flash. So,this must be the reason why the player doesn’t work.I gave up trying now, because I already have the most recent version of A.Flash on my Chrome browser that I use,and I don’t want to do this again,I would rather forget the player in Avast Safe Zone.
Thank you Eddy and everyone for devoting time to this issue.Very grateful to have you guys who know how to help eternal dummies in computering, like me.G.bless!
