Error message #42051

I’m using Avast 4.8 Home Free on a Windows XP Toshiba Satellite 1.8 CPU laptop. When I run a scan prior to boot up I get the following Error message on two saved downloaded programs.

File C:\DownLoad\Copy DVD Win 32 Bit\1clickdvdcopysetuprn5.9.5.9_32248.exe{embedded}\setup.exe Error 42051 {Unknown packer version.}
File C:\DownLoad\Copy DVD Win 64 Bit\1clickdvdcopysetuprn5.9.5.9_32248.exe{embedded}\setup.exe Error 42051 {Unknown packer version.}

I have checked the online data base for the error message with zero results. Can anyone tell me what this error message means.

unknown packer …avast can not unpack and scan the file i guess …it does not mean infected, just a scan error

if you are suspicious upload and test the file at www.virustotal.com

I’m using Avast 4.8 Home Free on a Windows XP......
not sure...but the reason could be that since you run a old avast version 4.8 that are not able to unpack this .... why not upgrade to latest ?
