“error occurred during moving/deleting”
I get this error when I want to delete or move (to chest) a virus found by Avast.

Hm, doesn´t Avast give you more infos? It could happen, if the Virus is activ, than it is impossible to delete it(because the file is in use).
BTW: What virus does Avast report?
“Error occurred during …” is the only message. It’s happening all with kinds of virus in my mailbox. They are all blocked with Outlook XP and are not Active.
That should answer a person of the avast team. I do not know if Avast is able to delete files wich are inside the outlook database. Why don´t you delete them manualy?
Because I have a virusscan to do it for, i thought ??? I received about 100 infected mails so manualy deleting isn’t an option.

Isn´t outlook able to sort mails by attachementsize? But maybe avast is able to delete them I donn´t know, because i do not use outlook.
BTW: Did the Avast Mailprotection not filter them out, before they “recieve” the Outllok Database?

Both. On-demand and on-access gives the same respons.

Sometimes the behavior of avast on deleting files (or moving to chest) seems to be not well done…
