Can I reinstall without losing all my bookmarks, saved passwords, etc?
I’m getting an error code1: 0X80004005

How to Backup your Avast Secure Browser settings:

- Make a note of where you save the settings so you can restore them.

please go to Settings, About page and trigger the update. Or also try restarting the browser, the error should be gone.

Did you try using the Sync service and sync all your data? After reinstalling the browser, you can log in and have all your bookmarks and other data in place. See: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/246/
