Error: The parameter is incorrect (87)

For ages now when I do a scan with Avast it comes back with a warning, ‘Some of these files could not be scanned’.
The file name it gives is; Disk\?\Volume{e578c1a9-b0ff-11e3-b6d3-806e6f6e6963?}{-}{-}Boot Record
The status it gives is what I used as the subject.

I have no idea what this means or have to fix it. Any ideas?

Are you running windows 8 or 10 ? If so it may be the GPT GUID… Boring boot stuff and it is not a problem

I am running Windows 7

It may be related to links not being followed correctly. But, if the computer is behaving it should not be a problem
