ERROR: VPS update Avast 5.0.418

Hi, I downloaded and installed the last version 5.0.418, and I tried to install de VPS update in my PC but a message appeared:

Can’t install VPSupdate, please report following errorcodes:
Ver:5.0.418
SI:0x00000002
ST:0xFFFFFFFE
LE:0x00000000

So, where and who a can report this, and what I can do for updating the antivirus.

If somebody know please tell me how. Thanks

Any firewall?
Other security programs that could interfere?
Can you test with “no proxy” setting (Updates > Proxy)?
Which was your old antivirus (before avast)?

hi!, I have the same problem as yours… I just uninstall my avast antivirus and reinstall it, (but don’t install your old one,) download the latest engine of avast and register it again (if you are a home user)… After that my avast works perfectly… I hope this will help… Thank You!
