When trying to open avast I get this error:
The procedure entry point _basCheckOleServerVersion@12 could not be located in the dynamic link library ashBase.dll
I can’t get the on access protection up and running either…
Any ideas?

Thank you for the welcome 
Well I noticed the on access protection wasn’t running so i went to the start menu and clicked on the avast scanner. That’s when i get that message. I did uninstall and reinstall avast.
