Error while completing setup process

While installing Avast Free for the first time on an Intel Core2Duo box running VistaHP SP2 Setup states “There was an error while completing the setup process” and invites me to view the setup log.

The log is quite long and I don’t know what I am looking for. Can I post it here for comments?
