ErrorNuker Flagged as Virus

I downloaded ErrorNuker and attempted to install and received the following error:

“5/28/2005 10:56:50 AM Jerry Todd 372 Sign of “Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}” has been found in “C:\DOCUME~1\JERRYT~1\LOCALS~1\Temp~ERRN200410000.exe” file.”.

I contacted errornuker tech support the replied with the following:
“This is a known problem with AVAST anti-virus incorrectly flagging our installer (and likely other installers). Please contact AVAST tech support for further assistance in correcting this issue.” .

I am running Avast 4.6 Professional on Windows XP with all the latest service packs.

You should zip the infected file or program in a compress folder and send it to virus@avast.com

If you are getting a virus warning that you believe is a false positive, then if you can zip and password protect (‘virus’, will do) the suspect file and send it to virus @ avast.com (no spaces).

Give a brief outline of the problem, the fact that you believe it to be a false positive and include the password in the body of the email. Some info on the avast version and VPS number (see about avast {right click avast icon}) will also help.

You could also check the offending/suspect file at: Jotti - Multi engine on-line virus scanner if any other scanners here detect them it is less likely to be a false positive.
