When I tried to find them I could not?, they all start of with /Private/var/folders/so/s…

I got the exact same thing, same system, Snow Leopard, and have the same question…
What should we do with this if anything?
I also got /applications/iDVD.app/Contents/Resources/205_Family_thmb.tif Error 42120 ARJ archive is corrupted
Any suggestions?

Hi Falcon38
Re the iDVD I think.
In FINDER I looked in the iDVD and was able to find
/applications/iDVD.app/Contents/Resources/205_Family_thmb.tif Error 42120 ARJ archive is corrupted.
and put it in the trash.
But the files with warnings in archive are still there.

Error 212 Unknown error 212

Hallo,
not all archives must be really corrupted - it might be even an archive-like file, which, when trying to take it as a some hand-crafted/malformed archive (that’s what avast tries to do), just failed to extract properly. So, it’s just WARNING (= something that prevented intended scanning of the item, has nothing to do with infection or infection suspicion). Detected infections are always shown as INFECTIONS.
Regards,
