Errors on Vista & Exclusion list & Updates

I’m receiving the following error on Windows Events (Vista):

AAVM - scanning error: x_AavmCheckFileDirectEx: avfilesScanReal of D:\Util\Internet\eMule\config\statistics.ini failed, 00000005.

But the file is on Exclusion list of Standard Shield:

D:\Util\Internet\eMule\config\statistics.ini

Why? Why is the access error (5) being flagged?

Also, I’m experiencing a trouble while updating and the error message is:

Function setifaceUpdatePackages() has failed. Return code is 0x20000004, dwRes is 20000004.

What is it?

sorry, i believe this questions are answerable only by the developers (update problems?).
First lines are probably archived files and password protected?
