Ethernet Drivers got killed by the monster

Hi all,

I just installed Avast Premier trial on one of our computers .
About out system, it is situated in a coal mine where we take the weight of coal trucks and save it to the computer.
We have a custom built system with many printers and other industry devices connected to it.

The problem is, We can not get our ethernet (LAN) to work after i installed Avast premier.
Many of the devices are old and their drivers do not have updated certificates, the antivirus kills those driver files.

How can I save the drivers from the antivirus? is anyone having the same problem here?
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

What os/sp?
What exact version of avast?
Any other security (related) software installed or was there previously?

we have windows 7 professional sp1,
Avast Premier 10.0.2208.712
it was QuickHeal Endpoint security 5.3, previously installed on the system.
update: I can’t get my LAN card and USB port to work now.
