Well MS is buying business share, when you have billions of dollars of annual revenue you can do that, other companies have to live in the real world.
well in that case many people can’t install avast!, but can install MSE. What will choose small buisness ?
Letting small buisness use avast! antivirus Avast will grow up their community, if it desired of course…
Well, everyone is free to choose… 
Small business can claim the cost of anti-virus software as a legitimate business expense. Choosing M S E aside from providing less protection (and after all isn’t that what is important) because it is free they pay more tax. That is of course if they are paying tax.

Avast is already generous in giving the avast free version, if it were to give it away to business for nothing where would the revenue come from to develop and maintain the existing products.
