127.0.0.1 is certainly a strange AMS address. Or are these logs taken from avast installed on the AMS itself? (because 127.0.0.1 is the localhost (loopback) address).

sorry, should’ve given more details.
This is from a client. Simply has the latest version of netclient installed.

So, any idea why the agent thinks that 127.0.0.1 is the address of the AMS? :slight_smile:

Isn’t it, by any chance, set in the computer group’s properties?

And is this an isolated problem (specific to this particular machine)? Or does it happen on pretty much all machines?

this is the only client seeing this. In the same group with others who don’t see this.

I tried pushing an update to this client… on the server it immediatley says access denied. on the client:

I have a few clients who can’t seem to talk to the AMS even though my ams address is locked to 10.1.19.10
The clients get on our network everyday yet the AMS says last communication a month or more ago.
How can I force these guys to talk to the AMS again?
