Suddenly today on my MacBook pro OS X 10.11.6 Avast is quarantining Evernote, shutting it down, and moving the whole app into the “chest.” When I try to open Evernote again, it migrates all the notes from a previous version of Evernote on my machine, opens, then gets quarantined again. This is a potentially catastrophic problem because if Evernote syncs that old data with my devices EVERY note I have entered on my devices since I installed the new version of Evernote (about two weeks ago) will potentially be deleted. I must say this is a blunt way to quarantine malware (if it’s even malware) and poses major risks to data. Something needs to be done about this asap
Hello,
can you post screenshot of detection, please?
Thanks,
