Hi, have this pest again, was a FP last time, and got it again, this time in autorunx

Everything is clean, have submitted the files last night to avast, but no fix yet?

If you have any false positive reports, the best way is to:

  1. Send an email to virus@avast.com, subject “false positive file”, attach the file (can be as is or zipped with either “infected” or “virus” as password). You will do us a favor if you also upload the file to virustotal and send the link to VT report in the email as well. You will not get any response, but it is much faster. OR
  2. Submit a ticket to at https://support.avast.com/Tickets/Submit. A bit slower, but more reliable.
    I recommend the second option, because emails sometimes get lost:-).
